Max Skinner
Max L. Skinner passed away June 23, 2006, at Marion.
At sunset Oct. 29, his ashes were spread upon the waters of Galveston Bay at Texas City, Texas, with a private memorial service performed by his brother, John Skinner of Edmond, Okla.
Born Jan. 5, 1938, at Florence, he spent many years in the Galveston area with wishes to be returned there upon his death.

His philosophy was "live for today — tomorrow will take care of itself."
He was preceded in death by his father, Garry Skinner; mother, Virgie (Maltbie) Rodgers; and stepfather, Walter Rodgers.
He is survived by brothers, Dean Skinner of Joplin, Mo., and John Skinner of Edmond, Okla.; and sisters, Margene Dornbush and Mary Lou Phillips, Marion.
