Maude Gaines visits family

Maude Gaines was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Ronnie and Patti Gaines.
Sherol Nightengale called on Norma and Leroy Riggs Thursday morning in Marion. Marvin and Sherol went to El Dorado Thursday afternoon to watch their granddaughter Laura Nightengale run in cross-country. They went Saturday to watch grandson Roger run in cross-country.
Lois Sayers and Joyce Kyle went to Emporia Wednesday.
The community extends sympathy to Al and Bonnie Plummer on the death of her father, Vern Lambert. The funeral was Friday at Norton. Shelby Plummer of El Dorado joined her parents at the funeral. Don and Twylah Nightengale called on the Plummers Sunday evening.
Nathan and Ella Koehn visited their son and family, Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee Sunday afternoon.
Joyce Kyle went to Burns Saturday afternoon and she and Kathleen Brenzikofer attended the wedding reception for Nick Myers and Angela Piferidon at Arletta's. It was a lovely reception. Dee Morgan also was a guest.
Sunday dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary were Greg and Zeola Langenegger, Kristen and Matthew Newfield of Newton, April Kasper of Peabody, and Joyce Kyle.
