Maude and LaVonne attend quilting session

Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter were in Marion Monday morning. They were in Peabody in the afternoon and quilted at the senior center.
Dorene Kirkpatrick and LaVonne worked in El Dorado on Tuesday and Thursday.
Dan Wiebe, Kenton and Tiana visited LaVonne a little while Tuesday evening. Stan Ammeter was an additional visitor.
LaVonne had a doctor's appointment in Marion Wednesday afternoon. Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherol Nightengale, and Maude Gaines attended.
LaVonne attended the funeral of John Kenney Friday morning at Baker Funeral Home. Stan also attended. John surely will be missed.
Cousins Pat Miller of Herington, Shirley Pierce, and Joy Ann Baba of Wichita met LaVonne for lunch Friday at the Korner Kitchen. They visited, then toured Peabody, then had ice cream at the Dairy Creme.
LaVonne visited Maude Gaines Friday afternoon.
LaVonne attended the funeral of Pat Woods Saturday morning at Baker Funeral Home.
Emily and Kevin Haxton and great-grandson Avery of Ellsworth came late Saturday afternoon to spend the weekend with Grandma LaVonne. Stan also was a visitor. Other visitors were Don Gillet, Michele Montgomery and Bob Hartnagel of Florence. My, how Avery has grown since Christmas. He's a cutie (of course that's a Grandma talking).

Kevin, Emily, and Avery went to church with LaVonne and were dinner guests. They left for home early because of the snow storm. It was a great weekend.
Michele Montgomery visited LaVonne early Sunday evening.
Maude Gaines entered St. Luke Hospital in Marion Sunday morning. Report is she has pneumonia. We wish her a speedy recovery.
LaVonne received word Friday that Bill Wyss of rural Burns had died. Bill is a cousin to the Ammeters. Our prayers and sympathy to the family.
Carolyn and Jack Metz of Wichita came Monday morning and picked up LaVonne. They went to the Burns Community Building for lunch with the Wyss family and attended Bill Wyss' funeral in the afternoon at the Ebenezer church. It was a really nice service. Bill will really be missed. It was a cold, nasty day.
LaVonne visited at the Mack Clark home Tuesday morning. Dorene Kirkpatrick and LaVonne worked in El Dorado on Tuesday.
LaVonne visited Marge and Fordyce Gray Wednesday morning.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those attending were Sherry Nightengale and Dorene Kirkpatrick. Helen Logan and Ronnie Gaines were afternoon visitors.

LaVonne went to Marion Thursday morning to the income tax lady then visited Maude Gaines at St. Luke in the afternoon. She is getting better.
Michele Montgomery and Bob Hartnagle visited LaVonne early Thursday evening. Josh Clark and Stan Ammeter visited later.
Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., picked up Opal Craney and LaVonne Friday afternoon and took them back to Nebraska with them to spend the weekend.
Snow and more snow. I hope spring is just around the corner.
