Marion Yoder
Marion K. Yoder, 77, of Elmdale, died March 9, 2006, at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.
Born Aug. 4, 1928, at Peabody, he was the son of Amon and Beulah (King) Yoder.
On Feb. 12, 1961, he married Betty Reed at Wichita.
He was engaged in farming all his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Betty of Elmdale; son, James Yoder of Marion; and three sisters, Mildred Harding of Hillsboro, Patsy McLendon of Weatherford, Texas, and Mary Louise Ritter of Billings, Mont.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Chapel, Cottonwood Falls, with Pastor Rick Smith officiating.
He was cremated and his cremains scattered on his farm.
A memorial fund has been established with Chase County Emergency Medical Service.
