Mario Nava to host second annual Peabody-Burns football camp
Former Peabody-Burns and future Tabor College football player Mario Nava will run the PBHS football camp July 25-29 at PBHS for grades two through six.
The cost of the week-long event is $25, and each participant will receive a T-shirt.
The camp "is designed to work on the fundamentals necessary to play football."
Nava, a starter on the PBHS football team this past season, will have help from other former and current Warrior football players.
The camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon each day. At the conclusion of Friday's session there will be a watermelon feed.
Anyone interested in attending must call Nava at 620-983-9078. Registration deadline is July 5.
