Many help at blood drive

LaVonne Ammeter and Maude Gaines worked at the Red Cross Bloodmobile canteen Tuesday morning. Others working in the kitchen were Mildred Buller, Gwen Gaines, Marge Gray, and Arlene Unruh. There were so many high school student donors. We should be so proud of them.
LaVonne visited at the home of Lawrence and Lois Sayers Tuesday evening.
Twentieth Century Club met at the home of LaVonne Ammeter. Those attending were Norma Clark, Betty Kyle, Joyce Kyle, Lois Sayers, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, Kathleen Brenzikofer and a guest, Helen Logan.
Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Those quilting were Maude Gaines, Sherry Nightengale, and Dorene Kirkpatrick.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Florence Thursday afternoon.
LaVonne Ammeter visited at the Mac Clark home Thursday evening. Bayleigh Clark of Colorado is spending spring break with Mac and Shayla. LaVonne stopped to see Bayleigh.
Todd Ammeter of Manhattan arrived at the Ammeter farm Thursday afternoon to spend the weekend with his grandma and help Stan Ammeter do some jobs around the farm.
Maundy Thursday services were held at the Summit Church Thursday evening.
Delores Bowser visited LaVonne Friday afternoon and Josh Clark was a Friday evening caller.
Todd Ammeter went to Hesston Saturday morning to attend the Parson dinner.
Melody and Steve Magette of Greensburg arrived at LaVonne's Saturday afternoon to spend the Easter weekend. Adam Magette of Manhattan arrived later in the afternoon. Stan Ammeter joined them for supper. Later in the evening, Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood and B.J. Ammeter and Jodi Wulf of Manhattan arrived to spend the night and Easter. All watched the KU basketball game.
Shelly Harper and Ben of Inman picked Maude Gaines up after church and they went to Perry to visit at Sally and Jim Abel's.
LaVonne and all her guests attended Easter sunrise services at Summit United Methodist Church. Dinner guests at the Ammeter farm were Steve and Melody Magette, Adam Magette, Todd Ammeter, B. J. Ammeter, Jodi Wulf, Blaine and Carol Ammeter, Eric and Kristin Magette of Salina, and Stan Ammeter. All returned home Sunday evening.
Bob Hartnagel and Michele Montgomery of Florence visited at the Ammeter farm Thursday evening and again Sunday morning.
What a lovely Easter day. March came in like a lion, but went out like a lamb. Hope you all have a good week!
