Man falls from horse
A 79-year-old Washington man fell from a horse Saturday evening at a rural Peabody farm.
Herb Dyck, uncle of Carol and Vernon Klingenberg, 225 Quail Creek Road, was riding a horse at 6:30 p.m. at a family gathering at the Klingenberg farm when the horse bucked and he fell off.
According to Marion County Sheriff Lee Becker, Dyck was transported to a Washington hospital with fractured ribs. He is expected to make a full recovery.
