Main Street, Warriors will be on city's water tower
Everyone came out a winner Monday evening when Peabody City Council approved the lettering on the Peabody water tower to include "1880s Main Street" and "Warriors," the Peabody-Burns High School mascot.
Peabody State Bank offered to pay 50 percent of the costs with the other half being paid through fund-raising efforts by Peabody Main Street Association and USD 398.
There was no total cost estimate for the project.
