Main Street newsletter just for you
Welcome to another alumni issue of the Peabody Gazette-Bulletin. Inside are several pages to bring you up to date on some of what's going on in your hometown. The paper and enclosed newsletter come to you compliments of Peabody Main Street.
It is the intent of PMSA to keep as many of you as possible connected to Peabody. We think that is important. We want you to know what has changed and what has stayed the same. We hope you will come back and see us from time to time.
You will notice a letter from Jack Fisher, Peabody High School class of 1951, in the newsletter section. Jack worked for the Peabody newspaper decades ago and has shared his memories of "getting out the news." We would be happy to print your memories of Peabody as well. Our readers enjoy these glimpses into the past. So send us your school stories, your holiday memories, tales of everyday life, or just goofing off. You will make happy readers all over the country. (Try to keep them to 500 words and you will keep the publisher happy as well!)
And remember to let us know if your name or address changes. We share the information with the alumni association and people organizing class reunions. Once we have you we don't want to lose you! And that goes for classmates or family members you know of who may not get the Peabody Main Street/Alumni Edition. The plan is for the newsletter and paper to go to all alumni of Peabody High School and Peabody-Burns High School. So if there is someone out there not receiving it, send us the name, class year, and address and we will see that they are added to the list.
Enjoy and let us hear from you.
