Main Street Assn. plans luau
Peabody Main Street Association will host a community block party July 27. The "Hula La La" will be an all-day downtown event with a lot of activities including a Hawaiian luau, a "Little Grass Shack" photo studio, live entertainment, contests, games, crafts for kids, and a free movie under the stars. Entry blanks for the "Hula La La" coloring contest are available until July 24 from any downtown merchant or at the city building. Prizes will be awarded, not only for the coloring contest, but for the best Hawaiian shirt and mu-mu. Main Street members hope folks in Peabody will start planning now to participate in the "Hula La La" block party downtown.
