Ludwig, Warner win Florence seats
Florence City Councilman of ward one, Daniel Ludwig, soundly defeated opponent Dorothy Cleverley, 44-4 in the Florence city race. Trayce Warner defeated fellow candidate Gary Nesser for the ward two seat on the Florence Council. Mayoral candidate Greg Winn was unopposed and captured 88 votes.
In other contested races, USD 398 seats went to Bruce Burke and Anthony Zappone.
Marion mayoral candidate Mary Olson soundly defeated incumbent mayor Martin Tice, 348-172.
Hillsboro City Council ward east candidate Shane Marler defeated incumbent councilman Matt Hiebert, 110-83. Hillsboro mayor, incumbent Delores Dalke, 270.
