Losses plague Lady Warriors

Peabody-Burns High School volleyball team hosted a league triangular Tuesday.
The Lady Warriors were defeated by Little River, 25-6, 25-10, in the first match of the evening. In game two, Canton-Galva beat the Lady Warriors, 25-19, 25-13.
The PBHS squad had five kills on the night and 39 team digs. In the Little River match-up, Jessi Hilliard had three blocks, Traci Windsor had five digs, Jessica Gillet had four digs, and Kali Alstrom and Hannah Redger had three digs each.
In the Canton-Galva match, Alstrom had two aces and three digs, Hilliard had three blocks and three digs. Rebecca Morris had two blocks and five digs. Windsor scooped up four digs and Redger added three.
Up next on the schedule is a road trip to Inman.
