Local business starts support fund for teen

Owners and employees of Reliance Energy Partners LLC, have established a support fund for Jessica Rosine, a senior at Peabody-Burns High School.

Rosine's father Jeff, died Aug. 31. He was her primary caregiver. She will remain in Peabody and attend Peabody-Burns High School. A guardian will be named, according to a family member.

"Jeff died without leaving a will and we recognize that will pose some problems for his daughter," said Scott Zogelman, Reliance Energy office manager. "Jeff was a good friend and fellow employee and we want to help Jessie.

"Even a number of our vendors have made contributions," he added. "The fund will be administered by Don Reinert, general manager of Reliance Energy."

The Jeff Rosine Memorial Fund has been established at Peabody State Bank and additional donations from friends and community members are welcome. The money will be used to cover some of the expenses Jessica will incur during her final months as a high school student.
