Lloyd Wade
Lloyd H. Wade, 74, Peabody, died there Dec. 10, 2002.
The son of Elmer Leroy and Myrtle (Wyman) Wade, he was born Sept. 26, 1928, at Havana.
He was an electrician, heating, and refrigeration technician.
Survivors include his son Wayne "Lee" Britton of Peabody; daughter, Tammy Whiteside of Peabody; brothers, Donnie Wade of Havana and Russell Wade of Caney; sister, Betty Thompson of Iola; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Pastor Jim Pohlman officiated at services held Thursday morning at Peabody Christian Church.
Pastor Mike Haviland officiated at graveside services that afternoon in Havana Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been created in his name at the church.
