Lloyd Patterson
Lloyd David Patterson, 94, Benton farmer, died Jan. 25, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Born Feb. 9, 1908, near Furley, he was the son of the late Harry Richard and Selma (Eilert) Patterson.
He was married to Ethel Carey on April 26, 1931, at Furley. She survives at Benton.
Other survivors include sons, Lloyd Jr. of Haysville, Allen of Whitewater, Dean of Valley Center, and Max of Iola; sister, Marguerite Falk of Valley Center; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Tuesday morning at Furley United Methodist Church with Pastor Howard Martin and Pastor Donald Patterson officiating. A memorial has been established to the church building fund.
