Letter: Which yard looks best?

Dear Editor:

My sister, Betty (Shank) Coleman from Red Wood City, Calif., came back to Peabody for her 60th class reunion. I had not seen her in 30 years.

She asked for the "grand tour" of Peabody to see how it looks after all this time.

We graded the yards by the way they were mowed and she asked if there was a prize for the best ones. If a yard is not perfect in California, you have to do it until it's perfect. But they are beautiful!

I am asking Peabody if they think the two best yards should get a prize? If so, what two yards do the people choose? I would like to see how far off I was on the two I picked. Let me know and I'll report my picks next week.
