Legacy Park news
March was an exciting month at Legacy Park in Peabody. Along with the arrival of spring, several changes have occurred inside Legacy Park.
One is the arrival of our new administrator, Renae Kersenbrock from Oakley.
Many may not know that in recent months Peggy Unruh has assumed duties as social service director. She is appreciated.
The special care unit has blossomed with some positive changes. The emphasis has returned with the unit being utilized best for dementia-effected residents. Staff and families are excited about the changes.
In addition, a flower box was constructed outside for residents to help with flower planting and growing.
The community is invited to a facility in-service at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Mark Larson, Channel 12 meteorologist, will present a program regarding severe weather and answer questions.
The residential care residents took a scenic drive March 30 that took them to the Copper Shed near Marion. The afternoon was filled with a tour learning how the items were made. The group then stopped at an ice cream shop and drove by the lake on the way home.
