Leah and Benjamin Giger

Leah McClenahan of Newton and Benjamin Giger of Elmdale were married during a four o'clock ceremony Aug. 31 at Newton Bible Church.

Pastor Don Myer officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Susan McClenahan of Newton. Her husband is the son of Allen and Carol Giger of Elmdale.

The bride is a graduate of Berean Academy and Pensacola Christian College with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed by Kansas Heart Hospital.

The groom is a graduate of Chase County High School and Kansas State University with a degree in agronomy-range management. He is a farmer and rancher.

A reception at the church was hosted by David and Verna Hall of Newton.

Following a wedding trip to Alaska, the couple lives at Route 1, Elmdale.
