Lawrence Venhous
Services were held Friday afternoon for Lawrence James Venhous, 85, who died April 2, 2002, at Peabody.
Born Jan. 6, 1917, at Lawrence, Neb., he was the son of the late John H. and Philomena (Blume) Venhous.
He lived at Peabody. He had retired as a service technician for mobile home companies in Cambridge, Neb.
The funeral service was held at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Andover, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Wichita.
Survivors include a niece, Vicki Venhous of Santa Rosa, Calif., nephews, Jeff Venhous of Ekalaka, Mont., John Venhous of Riverside, Calif., and Don Venhous of Little Rock, Ark.; and many friends.
A memorial fund has been established at Peabody Community Living Center.
