Lavonne visits friends at Legacy Park

Lavonne visited at Legacy Park Tuesday morning. She visited Hattie Laughridge, Geneva Merryfield, and Margaret Jewell. She stopped and visited all those in the downstairs dining room.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter visited Ike and Marie Clark Monday afternoon.

LaVonne went to Marion to see Dr. Beck Wednesday and do some shopping.

Ladies Aide met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Those quilting were Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Leona Widler, Maude Gaines, and Marie Clark was a guest.

Don Gillet and Stan Ammeter were Wednesday visitors of LaVonne.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne shopped in Marion and Hillsboro Thursday and they went on to Durham to get peaches.

Thursday evening visitors of LaVonne were Stan Ammeter and McKayla Oursler.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Newton Thursday afternoon.

Rose Watts of Agency, Mo., arrived at the Ammeter farm Friday evening to spend the night. She had visited Jack and Carolyn Metz in Wichita and Bob and Mary Watts in Newton and Laura Branum in Peabody. She left for her home Saturday morning.

Melody and Steve Magette of Greensburg arrived at LaVonne's Saturday afternoon and were supper and overnight guests. Sunday morning they attended church at Summit and ate dinner at the Chuck Wagon in Florence. The Magettes left for home in the afternoon.

Stan Ammeter was an afternoon visitor, as was Maude Gaines.

We do so enjoy our new minister at Summit Church. We're so thankful to have him.

Joyce Hein was a weekend guest of her son, Bran Hein and family in Newton.

Maude Gaines was a dinner guest of Ronnie and Patti Gaines Sunday.

Grandma LaVonne is anxiously waiting for this new great-grandchild. She talked to Emily late Sunday evening. "Anytime," she said. Wow, I can hardly wait!
