Amanda Kantack of Colorado Springs called Grandma LaVonne Saturday evening to tell her she's be a great-grandma again! Amanda and Bryan were visiting the Haxtons in Ellsworth and had been to the Kansas State game.

Steve Bishop and Stan Ammeter were Tuesday dinner guests of LaVonne.

Late Tuesday evening Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived to spend the night and help Stan and Steve Wednesday. Don Gillet joined them for dinner.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Those quilting were Dorene Kirkpatrick, Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and Leona Widler.

LaVonne and Maude Gaines were in Marion Thursday for business, lunch, and shopping.

Maude Gaines ate lunch Friday at the Peabody Senior Center and quilted.

Friday afternoon Kristin and Eric Magette came to Grandma LaVonne's and they all went to Newton to the Salina South-Newton football game. Eric helps with the Salina team. Kristin and LaVonne ate and did some shopping preceding the game. It's been quite awhile since I sat wrapped in a blanket and yelled at a football game! What fun! Salina South won.

Eric and Kristin spent the night Friday and left for Salina after breakfast Saturday. Sure did enjoy them.

LaVonne had several trick-or-treaters stop by Friday evening. Kerrie and the kids stopped before we left for the game. I left my lighted jack-o-lantern by the front door and treats on the table. Julie Andrew, Amy Wedel, Michele and Dylan Boese, and the Sayers girls all came. I enjoyed reading their notes.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne visited Ike and Marie Clark Saturday afternoon.

Maude and LaVonne attended church at Ebenezer Sunday morning. They went to Florence for lunch and later visited Elsie Tittle.

LaVonne's Sunday evening visitors were Kathryn Ireland, Hazel Ireland and Mrs. Enns of Newton, Michele Boese, Dylan and Chloree, and Mac Clark.
