LaVonne Ammeter and Kathleen Brenzikofer went to the Don Gfeller home. Edith Spinden, Mary Langenegger, Martha Wyss, and Joyce Kyle joined them and they all went to Hesston for lunch. We all enjoyed our lunch and visiting. Joyce, Mary, LaVonne, and Kathleen were guests of the Ebenezer ladies, Martha, Edith, and Marjorie.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at the Ammeter home. Those quilting were Maude Gaines, Leona Widler, Sherry Nightengale, and Dorene Kirkpatrick. LaVonne joined them later in the afternoon.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived Friday evening at the Ammeter farm and were supper and overnight guests. Stan Ammeter joined us for supper. Early Saturday morning Myron and Sally left for Manhattan to attend the K-State football game. They had brought Opal Craney home after spending a week in Nebraska.

Maude and LaVonne went to El Dorado Saturday afternoon and attended the soup supper and bazaar at Trinity Methodist Church. They ate with LaVonne's cousin, Theo Jean and Larry Winzer.

LaVonne attended church Sunday morning in the Peabody park. A really lovely service was led by Bekah Frees and her musicians. It was a beautiful setting and the music was good.
