LaVerna Jean Chaney, 56, El Dorado, died May 2, 2008.
Born Feb. 18, 1952, at Marion, she was the daughter of Loren and Marjorie (Maltbie) Osgood-Albright, the late Lawrence Osgood, and the late Loretta Albright.
She was a cook and waitress and a member of Wonsevu Christian Church.
Survivors include her parents, Loren and Marjorie Albright of Florence; five daughters, Lisa Stephens of Peabody, Jamie Puhalla of McPherson, Jennifer Huddleston of Olathe, Kelly Harper of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Tammy Shannon of El Dorado; four brothers, Lawrence Osgood, James Albright, Wayman Albright, and Odell Albright; six sisters, Karen Inman, Theresa Danby, Monica Graves, Connie Lange, Anita Hind, and Michele Nelson; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Zeiner Funeral Home, Florence, with Everett Cress officiating.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
