Todd Ammeter of Manhattan arrived at the Ammeter farm Tuesday night to spend Thanksgiving and help his grandma.

They went to Peabody Wednesday morning and later had lunch with Pastor Linda. Ladies Aid was canceled due to illness.

Emily, Kevin, and Avery Haxton arrived Wednesday evening as did B. J. Ammeter and Jody Wulf of Manhattan.

Thanksgiving day guests at the Ammeter farm were Melody and Steve Magette of Greensburg, Bryan and Amanda Kantack of Colorado Springs, Colo., Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., Amy Drake of Lauderdale, Minn., Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood, Eric Magette of Salina, Stan Ammeter of Florence, and Opal Craney of Peabody.

Carol, Blaine, Todd, B.J., and Jodi went to Don and Marjorie Gfeller's for dinner and returned later. Kevin, Emily, and Avery went to Ellsworth in the late afternoon and Myron, Sally, and Amy spent the night and Friday with Opal Craney. Eric Magette returned to Salina and the rest were overnight and Friday guests.

Bryan and Amanda Kantack and B.J. Ammeter and Jodi Wulf left Friday.

Melody stayed until Saturday afternoon. She and Blaine and Todd decorated for Christmas.

LaVonne Ammeter has visited Maude Gaines and Edith Spinden at Newton Medical Center.

LaVonne attended church Sunday at Peabody Methodist Church. That evening LaVonne and Betty and Glen Kyle went to the Peabody Christmas parade. Main Street looks so "Christmassy!"

Michele Boise visited later and Kenneth Mattheyer, a cousin of Sherwins, called from Marshall, Texas.

Glen and Betty Kyle attended the 50th wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon of Marvin and Betty Schmidt.

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving and how about this weather?
