Lady Warriors post no wins

The Lady Warriors lost Tuesday to Remington, 64-41. They also were defeated at Bennington Friday, 43-30. Up next is the final regular season contest at Berean.
Remington
Lady Warrior offense took a five-point lead early in the first quarter against the Lady Broncos. Remington came back to claim the lead, 12-9, but a trey from Elaina Newell tied the game at 12. Becky Morris sunk a trey to give the PBHS squad the lead, 15-12, and they held on to the edge at the end of the quarter, 17-15. Newell had eight points. Morris added five and Jessi Hilliard put in four.
PBHS offense stalled in the second, scoring only eight points. Hilliard had four. Jessica Gillet added a basket and Morris added two free throws. Lady Bronco offense tacked on 21 and the Lady Warriors were down 36-25 at the half.
Offensive trouble continued for the Lady Warriors in the second half. PBHS was outscored 28-16. Hilliard had seven. Morris added four. Bayleigh Clark and Newell each had a basket. Gillet tacked on a free throw.

Bennington
Both offenses were off the mark in the first period of the Bennington/PBHS contest. The Lady Warriors were only down by four at the end of the quarter, 10-6. Clark had four. Newell added a basket.
With less than six minutes to play in the second, Morris scored two baskets and closed the gap to one, 12-11. Bennington pulled away again and held the lead at the half, 18-15. Morris led the quarter with four. Tabitha O'Neal and Clark each added a basket. Hilliard added a free throw.
Third quarter PBHS offense was three points from Hilliard. Bennington added 11 to make the deficit, 29-18.
While the Lady Warriors were able to increase offensive production in the fourth, the Lady Bulldogs added 14 and beat PBHS, 43-30. Newell led the final period with six. Hilliard, Gillet, and O'Neal each added two.
