Lady Tomahawks take two of three matches
Peabody-Burns Junior High School Lady Tomahawks traveled Thursday to Canton where they won two of three matches.
PBJH took a first match victory 25-14, 25-16. The Lady Tomahawks served 76 percent in the first game and 84 percent in the second.
Kristen McGonigal, Paige Barnes, and Danielle Savage served 100 percent for the match. Embry Hodges and Anna Garcia served 7-8, and Kaitlyn Preheim was 9-10.
PBJH was defeated in the second match, 25-8, 25-12, but came back to win the third match, 25-16, 25-21.
Destiny Tyler served 13-14 and Kylie Terronex was 8-9.
The Lady Tomahawks prepare Thursday for a home match against Moundridge.
