Lady Tomahawks split with Sedgwick

The Peabody-Burns Lady Tomahawks played hard Thursday, taking the Sedgwick squad to three games, but losing the match, 15-7, 10-15, 5-15.

"I was very pleased with the way the girls moved together on the court," stated Coach Robi Alstrom. "There was a lot of hustle and they were aggressive at the net."

Leading in statistics were Hannah Redger with eight points (served 100%, 12-12), Hollee Reynolds with eight points, and Jessi Hilliard with seven points.

The PBJH junior varsity squad won its match in two games 15-2 and 16-14.

Shelby Wilson scored eight points (served 92%, 11-12). Hannah Redger scored seven points.

"The girls served well and showed lots of hustle and movement," said Coach B.J. Claassen. "They kept their composure in a close second game and we had key plays from some of our seventh graders."
