Lady Tomahawks split two

The Peabody-Burns Junior High Lady Tomahawks varsity squad had good team play against Central Christian. With six girls pushing up points, the Lady Tomahawks came out on top, 27-19.

Traci Windsor scored seven and had five rebounds for the night. Lindsey Wiebe had a good game all around with six points, five rebounds, and two steals.

The Burrton Chargers presented a bigger challenge for the PBJH squad. The Tomahawks didn't get the offense going, only scoring 10 points total.

Defensively, the Tomahawks improved, but were defeated by Burrton 26-10.
