Lady Tomahawks lose matches
The Lady Tomahawk junior high varsity volleyball team is now 0-2 for the season with a loss Thursday to Canton-Galva. The team was defeated 11-25, 25-17, 2-15. The junior varsity is 2-0 with a victory over Canton-Galva, 26-24, 25-19, 15-12. The teams play next at Bennington.
For the PBJH varsity, Laci McCartney led the team with eight points in the second game while teammate Embry Hodges served for seven points. Bethany Loucks served the final game point to give the team the second game win.
Canton-Galva scored nine unanswered points to give them the third game win and the match.
