Ladies get mending done for residents

LaVonne, Maude Gaines, Marge Gray, and Mildred Buller and her grandson were at Legacy Park Monday to mend for the residents.

Maude and LaVonne were shopping Tuesday afternoon in Marion.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Tuesday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the night and Wednesday.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Attending were Sherry Nightengale, Maude Gaines, and Dorene Kirkpatrick. Don Gillet was an afternoon visitor.

LaVonne went to Burns Thursday morning with Kerri Wiebe, Tianna, and Kenton.

Carolyn Holm of Wichita was LaVonne's Thursday afternoon and overnight guest. They went to Marion to the courthouse on business, then visited Laura Branham at Marion Manor.

Carolyn and LaVonne had lunch Friday afternoon in Newton on the way to Wichita. LaVonne was an overnight guest of Carolyn and Jack.

Kathryn Ireland of Newton joined Jack, Carolyn, and LaVonne Saturday morning for a trip to Chandler, Okla. They stopped at Davenport, Okla., to visit Bill and Bobbie Ann Wilson. At Chandler they met other relatives at the Frank Mattheyer farm and enjoyed a great day of visiting and walking down memory lane.

Jack and Carolyn brought LaVonne home late Sunday afternoon. Rebecca Holm visited Sunday morning with Aunt LaVonne.

Maude Gaines ate Friday at Peabody Senior Center.

Stan Ammeter was a Sunday supper guest of LaVonne.
