Krier signs with Tabor women s basketball
Amanda Krier, Beloit, has signed a letter of intent to participate in the Tabor College women's basketball program during the 2006-2007 season, according to head coach Rusty Allen.
"Amanda comes out of a successful high school program," said Allen.
Krier, a forward/center, earned All-League and Colby All-Tournament Team honors for two and three years, respectively, as well as Kansas State Coach's Association All-State Honorable Mention one year.
During her high school career she helped lead her team to win the Colby Orange and Black Classic and qualify for the state tournament her freshman year.
"She is a very versatile player," said Allen. "Amanda is a good student and demonstrates strong character. We are excited that she will be joining our team."
She is the daughter of Steve and Tammy Krier, Beloit.
