Koehn family entertains houseguests

Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Hutchinson Saturday afternoon to visit Jeff and Jill Koehn, Megan and Ashlie. Megan and Ashlie came home from the hospital in September and are doing well. Dusty was a Sunday dinner guest of his parents.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale watched their granddaughter Laura run cross country Wednesday in El Dorado. She won her race and has only been beaten once this year.

Al and Bonnie Plummer left Oct. 3 for Nixa, Mo., to visit their daughter and family, Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abbie. They returned home Oct. 7.

Friday morning, Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle called on Minamae Bierman on St. Luke Hospital. They went on to Hillsboro to help Connee Willis prepare for the senior citizens annual meeting. They and Gene Obee enjoyed the Fall Fun Night Sunday evening at the First Mennonite Church.

Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee and their houseguests Noah and Vernella Peachy, Laura, Catherine, Andrew, Marissa, and Samantha, and Nathan and Ella Koehn were Monday evening supper guests of Roland and Kim Koehn, Doug, Kayla, and Diana. Tuesday evening, they were all supper guests in the Renferd Koehn home. The Peachys and Nathans enjoyed the zoo Tuesday in Wichita. On Wednesday, Wanda, Nathan, and Ella took Vernella, Catherine, Marissa, and Samantha to the airport to return home, and Noah, Laura, and Andrew took a tractor home to PA that Noah had bought earlier.

Vernon and Florine Koehn visited Elmer and Dorothy Jantz Sunday afternoon.

Brent and Renita Dirks, daughter of Roger and Geneva Koehn of Scott City, were visiting this weekend in the area.

Lawrence and Lois Sayers spent Friday night with their daughter, Sandy, in El Dorado. They left for Fayetteville, Ark., Saturday morning to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of friends Joe and Dean Fraley. They returned home Sunday evening and their son and family, Mike, Sylvia, and Kimberly of Colorado Springs, Colo., arrived. They will return to their home Wednesday.

Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica attended a hog roast Saturday evening at the David Thiessen home.
