Kirk Zuhars
Kirk E. Zuhars, 64, Rose Hill, died Feb. 13, 2008. He was a retired Rose Hill and Central Burden High School guidance counselor.
In the early 1970s Zuhars was counselor for the Peabody-Burns district. He and his family lived at Burns.
He was born Feb. 12, 1944, at Wichita and was the son of Harold and Talia Ann (House) Zuhars.
On Jan. 4, 1969, he married Charlene Zink at Wichita.
He was a member of Victory Fellowship in Rose Hill and an alumnus of Phi Delta Theta at Wichita State University.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Alan of Benton, daughter Tamela (Michael) McSwain of Oklahoma City, Okla., mother Talia of Wichita, and two grandsons.
Services were held Monday afternoon at Smith Mortuary, Derby.
