Junior high quiz bowl team wins at Goessel
The seventh and eighth grade Quiz Bowl teams participated March 25 in competition at Goessel with teams from seven other schools.
The seventh grade squad won the championship round with the correct answer on the fourth tie-breaker question.
The eighth grade team placed third, but only missed going to the championship round by five points.
The students competed April 1 at league contest at Central Christian in Hutchinson, the last quiz bowl meet of the season.
The groups are sponsored by Ann Leppke.
