Jodie McVey
Jodie "Jo" Vivian McVey, 85, died July 10, 2008, at Danville, Calif.
Born Sept. 30, 1922, at Keechi, Texas, she was the daughter of James and Myrtle (Dolson) Lummus.
In 1945, she married Bruce McVey.
Survivors include two sons, John of Galveston, Texas, and Robert and wife, Sandra of Peabody; daughter, Susan of Danville, Calif.; sisters, Audrey Smith and Addie Rohl of Texas; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Newton, with Pastor Jim Anderson officiating.
A memorial fund has been established with Bruns Hospice House, 2849 Miranda Ave., Alamo CA 94507.
