Jessie Bayes
Jessie Bayes, 99, died Oct. 9, 2007, at Legacy Park, Peabody.
Born July 24, 1908, in rural Butler County, she was the daughter of George and Emma (Bichtel) Davis.
She was a beauty operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bayes; and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence Bayes of Valley Center and Charles Bayes of Burns; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Burns United Methodist Church, Burns.
Burial will be in Pleasant Center Cemetery, Burns.
A memorial fund has been established with Whitewater Center Church.
