Jeraldine Noll

Jeraldine Noll, 95, of St. Joseph, Mo., died April 14, 2004.

Born March 18, 1909, in Wichita, she was the daughter of Dr. Edward and Lucretia (Fost) Johnson Sr.

She graduated from Peabody High School and attended Lindenwood College in St. Charles, Mo., and graduated from Baker University.

A secretary for Lux Box Theatre, she also was a school teacher in Anthony and a member of Peabody United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of St. Joseph for the past 18 years and attended Second Presbyterian Church there. She was a member of Tri-Delta Sorority at Baker University.

On Oct. 4, 1942, she married Dean Noll in Peabody. He died in 1989.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Edward H. Johnson Jr.; two sisters, Josephine Castello and Elisa Johnson; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Trilby and Ronnie O'Rourke of St. Joseph and Lisa and Jerry Baker of Berryton; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Friday afternoon at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel with the Rev. Holly Rudolf officiating.

Inurnment was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

A memorial fund has been established with the American Legion Avenue of Flags, Peabody.
