Jane Williams
Jane Williams, 96, died June 6, 2008, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.
Born June 1, 1912, in Marion County, she was the daughter of George and Lena (Kreutziger) Richmond.
She was a longtime cook in the Florence schools and later at Town & Country Café.
On Sept. 10, 1932, she married Ernest Williams at Hillsboro. He died in 1979. She also was preceded in death by a son, Mark Williams.
Survivors include son, Max Williams of Florence; daughter-in-law, Jonie Williams of Omaha, Neb., and Sharon Williams of Marion; five grandchildren, Philip Williams of Emporia, Matt Williams of Florence, Catherine Dunham of Colorado Springs, Colo., Aaron Williams and Elizabeth Williams, both of Omaha, Neb.; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at Florence Christian Church with Pastors Harold Brown and Peter Banning officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
Memorial funds have been established with the church or St. Luke Living Center.
