I'm thinking about it
All five of my regular readers have asked me to hurry up and get well. They say they want me back on task writing a weekly opinion piece. They don't seem to have much sympathy for my frail physical condition. Nor do they understand that part of the recovery includes medication that is intended to keep the patient from feeling much of anything.
Consequently I just don't care about those issues that would normally have me in a fist-pounding uproar. There also is the stress factor. I am not supposed to have any. Having an opinion can be quite stressful, especially if you tell the world.
However, one of these days I am going to try.
In the meantime, you people are certainly welcome to write a guest editorial. Express your opinion and see what happens. You might enjoy it. Kansas University beat Kansas State — on the football field — surely that is worthy of comment by someone. We are STILL suffering through repair work on U.S.-50. Looks like wind generators might invade our section of the Flint Hills. Are the presidential debates going your way?
See? You can get all bent out of shape about any number of things.
As usual, the rules are to keep it short (fewer than 500 words), sign your name, and don't slander anyone. Get right in there and stir things up.
