Hutch Trinity shuts out Tomahawks

Peabody-Burns Junior High football squad was shut out Thursday, 40-0, during an away contest with Hutch Trinity.
The Celtics put up five scores in the first half, keeping the Tomahawks scoreless at the half, 34-0.
The Celtic defense overpowered the PBJH offense, forcing turnovers by blocking a Tomahawk punt and intercepting a Tomahawk pass. Four of the Tomahawks first half drives were unsuccessful
Offensive trouble continued for the Tomahawks in the second half. Four drives produced no score for the PBJH squad.
The Celtics scored once more in the contest to bring the final to 40-0.
The Tomahawks meet Inman at home Thursday.
