Huntleys enjoy Thanksgiving Day in Wichita

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Huntley were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Galen Hysom and boys of Wichita. In the evening the Huntleys visited Mr. and Mrs. Mike Huntley in Newton. Saturday visitors of the Huntleys were Joyce Hett of Marion and Hazel Clothier.

Thanksgiving Day dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ludwig were Rolana and Scott Heidebrecht and boys of Marion, Tawnya and Steve Sokoll and Corinn of Wichita, and Doug and Dan Ludwig.

Kathleen Ludwig, Rolana Heidebrecht and boys, and Tawnya Sokoll and Corinn met in El Dorado Saturday and attended a craft show.

Saturday visitors at the home of Lenora Graham were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pankratz of Newton, Karen and Kristen Pankratz and Mrs. Bruce Sloan of Indianola, Iowa, and Brenda Hergott and Hannah of Lindsborg. Additional visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Schaffer, Derek and Samantha of Pleasant Hope, Mo.

Betty Ireland spent from Tuesday to Saturday morning in Topeka at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ireland and family. Additional Thanksgiving dinner guests were Wava Ireland of El Dorado and Wanda Vaepel and Kate of Wichita.

Thanksgiving dinner guests of Bertha Zogelman were Mr. and Mrs. Nick Zogelman, Heidi and Katie, Carol Callahan, Jason and Samantha of Burns, Sarah Zogelman, and Scott Zogelman.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Nightingale attended a family Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Dan and Barbara Rexroat and family at Valley Center. They were supper guests of Brad and Janel Turner in Eureka.

Bill Strong of Eureka was a Sunday visitor of his parents, Truman and Opal Strong.

Margaret Bezdek accompanied Craig and Janet Smith to the home of Royal and Mary Smith in Marion for Thanksgiving dinner. They also were celebrating the fourth birthday of Margaret's grandson, Jacob Smith.

Jean Everett and Mary Jane Grimmett were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Everett of Cedar Vale. Other guests were Lisa Everett of Johnson, Tom Everett of Cedar Vale, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Inman of Grenola.

Post-Thanksgiving dinner guests of Jean Everett on Sunday were Tyson and Melanie Grimmett and Bethany of Marion and Mary Jane Grimmett.

Mr. and Mrs. Tim Parmley attended a Thanksgiving dinner at the home of James and Melissa Parmley, Cody and Corinn at Cedar Point. Other guests were Travis Parmley, Andi Shipman, and Mr. and Mrs. Brad Vannocker of Hillsboro.

Mrs. Si Allen has been a patient at Newton Medical Center since Tuesday.

A post-Thanksgiving dinner was held Sunday at the senior center in Florence for the family members of the late Elizabeth Padgett family. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hamm of Tampa, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Malmgren and Randy Hamm of Overland Park, Tari Malmgren of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Wilson of Mulvane, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Padgett of Hillsboro, Mr. and Mrs. John Padgett, Jim Padgett, Austin Huber, and Betty Ireland, all of Florence.
