HPD investigates missing persons case
Hillsboro Police Officers conducted an investigation Wednesday regarding a person reported missing from the 400 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro.
Nov. 13: Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street, Hillsboro. A welfare check was conducted. Assistance was given to a motorist at Ash Street and U.S.-56.
Monday: A civil process was served for the city. SRS received assistance with an investigation. A door-to-door salesman without a permit was reported. Suspicious activity was checked in the downtown area.
Tuesday: A subject received assistance with a child custody complaint. A 911 disconnect was checked in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street.
Wednesday: A lost cell phone was reported. A dog complaint in the 300 block of South Main Street was filed. A traffic complaint was filed in Memorial Park.
Thursday: A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of North Jefferson Street. Marion County Sheriff's Office received assistance with a reckless driver on U.S.-56. A vandalism complaint was filed at the city's water plant. A subject was fingerprinted for employment.
Friday: Assistance was given to the sheriff's office regarding a suspicious vehicle on U.S.-56. A dog complaint was filed in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street. Subjects were reported digging through Dumpsters at a construction site in the 700 block of South Main Street. A report was made of an aggressive dog running loose in the 300 block of North Ash Street. A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Birch Street. A skunk was destroyed near the airport. A civil standby was given in the 300 block of South Birch Street. A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of South Cedar Street. Assistance was given to a medical call in the 900 block of East D Street.
Saturday: Herington Police Department received assistance with an investigation. A domestic disturbance in the 200 block of South Main Street was reported. A motorist received assistance. A 911 disconnect was checked in the 400 block of South Main Street.
