Homecoming events Friday are open to public
Peabody-Burns Senior High students will celebrate homecoming 2008 this week. The festivities will culminate Friday with candidate games and a pep rally before school is out for the day, followed by the homecoming games, and crowning of the 2008 king and queen.
Candidate games will begin in Brown Gymnasium at 2:45 p.m. After the candidate games, prizes will be given to the winners of dress-up days, and there will be a "float parade" around the gymnasium.
The pep rally will begin at 3:10 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend and join the students for these events.
Homecoming royalty will be crowned at approximately 7:10 p.m. between the varsity girls' and varsity boys' games.
Homecoming candidates are Ben Eldridge, Jessica Gillet, Ryan Wiebe, Samantha Pickens, Duane Unruh, and Erica Frederick.
