Holiday activities abound Saturday in Peabody

There are several activities happening in downtown Peabody this Saturday to celebrate the holidays. You are invited to bring your family downtown to join the fun and shopping!

Multiple activities are going on from 3 to 5 p.m. They include pictures and visits with Santa at the senior center, 4-H cake walk at the senior center, Christmas card workshop at Peabody Print Museum, book signing by the California Sisters of Ramona at Jackrabbit Hollow, free hot chocolate downtown, served by CSI:PBHS, Community Service Involvement Group, and caroling downtown by various PBHS singers.

In addition, four Peabody antique stores are hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit all four antique shops including Cameo Rose Antiques, Mayesville Mercantile, and Ambleside Antiques downtown and Tumbleweed Antiques south of town. Refreshments will be served.

Also on Saturday, the Christmas Village will be at the American Legion from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Village is a selection of booths with assorted and various goodies for sale.
