Hillsboro Long-Term Care Unit: Residents choose noon meals

Buffet dining started this week for the noon meal. Residents do not enjoy waiting in line but do enjoy the choices of foods.

Kathy Fish of Hillsboro Public Library came Monday morning to read about Russian eggs. Residents played bingo in the afternoon. They also enjoyed listening about the dust bowl and Volga Germans coming to Kansas and Oklahoma. Tabor College students came in the evening to play cards with the residents.

Community people came Tuesday morning to play dominoes. Baggo was played that afternoon.

Residents filled Easter eggs Thursday morning for the Easter egg hunt Friday. The movie "Easter Promise" was shown in the afternoon.

Several day-care providers and staff brought children for the Friday morning Easter egg hunt. A Good Friday service was held in the afternoon. Yvonne Cushenberry sang several songs for the service.

Trinity Mennonite Church was in charge of Easter Sunday worship service.
