Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter worked late Monday afternoon in the Bloodmobile canteen. Others working were Mildred Buller, Arlene Unruh, Gwen Gaines, Verna Mosiman, and Marilyn Unruh. There were lots of high school donors. We sure are proud of them!

Maude and LaVonne attended the senior citizen's dinner Tuesday at the Burns Community Center. Later in the afternoon, they quilted at the Peabody Senior Center.

LaVonne visited at the John Bose home Wednesday morning to take Dylan a birthday cake. Michele Bose visited LaVonne later in the evening.

Carolyn and Jack Metz of Wichita were Wednesday afternoon and supper guests at the Ammeter farm.

Ladies Aid met at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon. Sherry, Maude, and Dorene came to quilt. Aunt Leona Widler didn't come. She was 99 years old Sunday. Wow! She is a very special lady!

We had four inches of rain Thursday. I think the drought is broken.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter went to Durham Thursday afternoon to get peaches. They came back through Florence and stopped at Elsie Tittle's. Evelyn Sidener came to LaVonne's later that evening.

Ike and Marie Clark stopped at LaVonne's Friday morning for a little while.

Stan Ammeter was a Sunday dinner guest of LaVonne.

Dan and Kerry Wiebe, Natalia, Taryn, Kenton, and Tiana attended a Chappel reunion Sunday over by Newton.

Maude Gaines went to visit Ike and Marie Clark Sunday afternoon.
