HHS student will represent school at state FCCLA convention
Hillsboro FCCLA will be represented at the state level by freshman April Young. She competed in the FCCLA creed contest and received a "gold" rating. She will represent District G in April at Wichita.
Kaya Letterman and Stephanie Abbott each received "silver" ratings for their events. Letterman gave a presentation on "Power of One." Abbott's presentation was "Focus on Children."
Along with the STAR events, district officer elections were held. Viktoria Bichet and Rebecca Pankratz served as Hillsboro voting representatives.
Becky Steketee was a timer at some of the contests. Adviser Monica Leihy also attended.
