Hess, Mai engagement announced
Lynn Nicole Hess and Kent Arthur Mai, both of Goessel, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Keith and Sherry Hess of Marion and the granddaughter of Dale and Loretta Snelling of Wonsevu, Linda Hess of Uniontown, Pa., and the late William Hess Jr.
Her fiancé is the son of Linda Mai of Great Bend and Barry Mai of Marion and the grandson of Edward and Marilee Debey of Phillipsburg and Vernon and Zelda Mai of Russell.
Hess is a graduate of Ridge Road Academy and is employed at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
Mai is a graduate of Great Bend High School and North Central Kansas Technical College with associate's degrees in automotive technology and applied science. He is employed by Moridge Manufacturing, Moundridge.
The couple plans to be married July 28 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion.
