Help yourself to some cash
The city-wide garage sale will be held April 12. We are frantically trying to put together "The Map" and need to have you get your listing in to us by 4 p.m. Friday. The April 12 date was selected because the city is planning a city-wide cleanup the following Friday and Saturday. That way, if you have junque that you don't sell, you simply can haul it to the curb and not have to mess with it anymore.
We will print a map to be distributed to all garage sale buyers with their address and a brief description of their merchandise (20 words or less). The map and your sale will be printed in all three county newspapers. Additional advertising will be in the Newton, Wichita, and other area papers. Plus you will get an official "Garage Sale" sign.
