Helen Farnsworth Worthen
Helen Farnsworth Worthen of North Andover, Mass., and Naples Fla., died July 10, 2003, at Newport, Vt.
Born Sept. 10, 1921, at Brookline, Mass., she was the daughter of Charles E. and Helen M. Farnsworth.
She was a graduate of Winsor School in Boston and Edgewood Park Junior College, Briarcliff, N.Y.
She resided in Andover and North Andover, Mass., for more than 50 years and summered in Georgeville, Quebec.
She was the wife of the late Frederic P. Worthen.
Family members include five children, Peter T. Worthen and wife Sally of Birmingham, Ala., Frederic P. Worthen Jr. and wife Nancy of Newnan, Ga., Robert F. Worthen and wife Susan of North Andover, Mass., Helen W. Berns and husband Frederic of Peabody, David S. Worthen and wife Gail of Wilton, N.H.; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Rebecca F. Avery of Brookfield, N.H.; brother James D. Farnsworth of Sarasota, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
